A SAN DIEGO ENGAGEMENT

Cora and Zach have a love story that’s made for the movies. And I’m not just saying that because Cora is my cuz and I think she and Zach make a beautiful couple… I am saying it because it’s oh-so-true!!! Cora is a flight attendant; Zach is a pilot. The pair matched up during a work trip to Key West over Thanksgiving a few years ago and “the rest is history.” It’s only natural that the two are carriers of the travel bug and, thankfully for me, decided to fly on over to San Diego for their engagement session!

This session was particularly special to me, not only because I love my cousin, but because it was the first session I’ve photographed since living in San Diego. The three of us traveled to the scenic Balboa Park; this area offered many gorgeous backdrops (almost too many) and gifted us the perfect Californian golden hour + sunset. It was also one of the most entertaining shoots I’ve had in awhile… some highlights include: almost petting a squirrel, coming inches to being decapitated by some flying ducks, and my favorite - Cora (accidentally) punching Zach in the face whilst attempting to spin…
